About This Blog and Blogger

Welcome to my blog! This is where I will be reviewing movie adaptations and reboots, judging them both in comparison to the source material, and as a stand alone. Sometimes reviewers get so caught up in the minor details that have to change for a movie, they wind up hating a good adaptation! I love reading books and watching movies- I know I get protective of my faves when Hollywood gets their claws on them- and I want to see my favorite characters on the big screen, but at what cost!?   I welcome feedback and alternative opinions, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! I'm a Junior in high school, so while I like to think I know everything, sometimes I can miss some major points and am ignorant of certain details... I want to learn though!
